Every year, the NCNW Pomona Valley Section offers scholarships to single parents pursuing higher education while raising children, to young women of purpose in high school preparing for college, and to local college sophomores, juniors, and seniors actively involved in their communities.

Mary McLeod Bethune’s Women of Purpose Scholarship
The Mary McLeod Bethune Woman of Purpose Scholarship, offered by the NCNW Pomona Valley Section, honors Mary McLeod Bethune, the founder of the National Council of Negro Women and Bethune-Cookman University. This scholarship is awarded to a young woman graduating from high school in the Pomona Unified School District who demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities, strong academic performance, and a commitment to making a positive impact in her community.
Regina Wilson Service Scholarship
The Regina Wilson Service Scholarship, in partnership with the NCNW Pomona Valley Section, honors Regina Wilson's legacy of service and education. It recognizes college students who excel academically and show a commitment to selfless service.
