You’re invited to join the Southern California Coalition of NCNW for a focused Town Hall on Tuesday, May 26th, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 555 W Foothill Blvd, Claremont, CA.
This nonpartisan forum will explore issues shaping the lives of African American women, their families, and communities. It’s an opportunity to learn, share, and connect with others committed to understanding and progress.

Pomona Inland Valley Martin Luther King Jr., Project’s (PIV-MLK)
In honor of the life and Legacy of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. this project operates to present scholarships to students, ages 15-19, who have made a difference serving in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Over 120 students have been honored for their commitment to social justice.
Holiday Give-A-Way
Each year food, toys, gift cards, and clothes are provided to individuals, families, and seniors in the community. Programs we donate to include:

Turkey Basket Giveaway
Distribute scarves and gloves to local convalescent homes
Back To School Drive
In preparation for children returning to school, backpacks are filled with school supplies and distributed to churches in the community.
Good Health Wins
PVS-NCNW is dedicated to spreading awareness on various health and wellness issues by hosting workshops; such as childhood obesity, cancer awareness, mental illness, and financial literacy. The workshops are comprised of panelists who are professionals in their field, e.g. Doctors, counselors, and financial planners, and share information in an effort to educate attendees of all ages. Our workshops are typically one hour in length and all are welcome to come.
